These trips are constantly changing as we change, our family dynamic changes, our activities change, etc. The one constant seems to be a shared love for something new. Even if the destination is the same (Acadia 7 years ago vs this year) there is so much new to experience.
This blog is a fun, silly and ridiculous way to chronicle these adventures so I won't get all sappy, but seeing Jordan continue to morph from meek and timid to adventurous is awfully fun (and scary, but mostly fun) to experience. I'm sure we will come up with someplace fun for the next trip, we have 3-4 ideas in the works already. I ran across this quote some time ago and found a graphic for it here. It is very simple, but captures the spirit of what we are doing quite well.
There were a ton of images from this trip, but something about this one seems right. As the sun is setting on this day, she's pointing out the way to the next adventure.
